We're thrilled to be taking part in Louisville Visual Art's Open Studio Weekend this weekend!

Once a year, artists all over town open their studios for visitors (with a ticket!) to stop in, see their work spaces, check out their creations, and learn a bit about their process and their inspirations.

It's a wonderful way to dig in to the richness that is Louisville's artistic community and to have a behind-the-scenes look at some of the coolest spots/people/creative minds/businesses in town. I kind of can't believe we're part of the fun this year.

A mobile app serves as your map around town, with neighborhoods grouped together for ease of navigation, and each studio will offer viewing of work, maybe some demonstrations, chats with the artists, and the opportunity to purchase or commission your very own design in some studios.

The Elva Fields studio will be open to ticket-holders on Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5 each day, and we'd love to have you stop by to see some of our latest designs, works in progress, and hear how we create in our little cozy shoebox of a studio. We might even have some snacks and sips if we get our act together before then! (And, if you have a ticket, you'll have access to the opening reception and launch party at The Cressman Center, featuring a juried exhibition of some of the tour participants on Friday before the tour kicks off the next day.)

Want to join in the fun? Purchase tickets here.
