Runway Recap

Last night’s Product Runway was a smashing success! We loved seeing the results of such creative work and were blown away by the fashions fabricated of various design materials, including tile, lighting, wall coverings, and upholstery fabric.
Some of the highlights of the evening were the fashions using Elva Fields Jewelry as part of their ensemble—including a tree/nature-inspired design (perfect for our eco-friendly Deb line necklace with vintage goldtone chains and leaves)…by Lindsay Hazzard for Bittners and Brandi Pash with Patcraft Designweave Carpeting

…and our vintage costume pearl clusters looked fabulous on the Glamazon stylista in drag…

…and a vintage goldtone chain necklace and set of vintage bracelets were a great compliment to the gorgeous garment worn and co-designed by Misty Potter McCubbin for ORI and by Larry Fuhs with Designtex that won second place in the competition.

It was a pleasure to be involved with the event—the local chapter of the International Interior Design Association’s planning committee did a fabulous job pulling off a fantastic event—a full house, great music, and a runway lineup to remember leave us all excited for next year’s show.

What's In A Name
While we’re sure there are plenty of Emily Maynards on the planet…we’re partial to the ones who specialize in design (jewelry, interiors, fashion…) And, since the only other Emily Maynard we’ve ever officially met is also a sister-in-law, (two brothers married two Emilys) we love her even more!
She has quickly spread the Elva Fields word on the West Coast by wearing our jewelry all over L.A., and she has also made quite a name for herself by founding her own interior design firm earlier this year. George Interior Design handles both commercial and residential projects, and all are done spectacularly, professionally, and stylishly. The best part (besides how beautiful the results are) is that she and her team work with a wide range of budgets, so whether you’re hoping for an updated living room in your first apartment or a suite of offices for your new corporate headquarters—George Interior Design is up for the challenge.
We’re more than happy to share a name with such a talented designer—and we’ll definitely be enlisting GID when we update this Emily’s jewelry studio. One day. Soon, we hope.

Owner Angela Foddrell stocks only the most wearable and unique styles, and the store’s assistants couldn’t be nicer. With locations in Portland, Maine and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, we can’t wait to find new fans in two great states this upcoming holiday season.

Style Down South

Say what you want about life in the South…we speak slowly, sip sugary sweet tea, and the whole “y’all” thing is a phenomenon to anyone above the Mason-Dixon. But make no mistake about it—there is plenty of style to be found down south along with those stereotypes, and that certainly goes for Femme, a fantastic little boutique in Mobile, Alabama.
The boutique stocks a number of fun and fashionable clothing lines for women, and they’ve just added Elva Fields Jewelry to their accessories list. We sent a box full of an assortment of pieces from our Elva, June, and Deb lines, so stop on by and check it out, y’all.
