To Market, To Market

We’re out of town most of this week at market, which is always a fun trip for us several times each year. We’ll be sourcing the most stylish and beautiful beads, clasps, and jewelry materials for our upcoming spring collections…and we’ll even stop in some of our favorite antique and flea market haunts on the way home. No doubt our shopping baskets will be brimming with fantastic finds for you all this season. (And it’s so nice to think spring in the midst of this arctic weather!) Check back with us soon for a Spring Preview coming next month.

White Christmas

Happy Holidays from Elva Fields Jewelry! We’re enjoying a few days with family after the mad rush of holiday orders…which means we’ll be out of the studio until next week. We are always happy to reply to e- and voice mails while away, but know we’ll be closed for the next few days to celebrate the holiday out of town (with lots of snow on the ground!) We hope that all of you are able to relax a bit this holiday season and enjoy life wherever you are. Thank you all for a lovely year—we’re already looking forward to a fantastic 2010 with Elva Fields!

Saturday Night's Alright

Photo courtesy of The Courier JournalSaturday night is alright for lots of things, but why limit yourself? And if three hours is great, then 12 hours is quadruple the fun (or so our logic goes) so swing on by one of the most stylish (and friendly) boutiques in Louisville for an all-day affair on Saturday in celebration of last-minute shopping. Clodhoppers has fabulously fashionable clothing and accessories—and, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. this Saturday, they’ll have lots more. Between the complimentary treats and over-the-top giveaways ($500 gift card? seriously?) you’ll want to make plans for a stop at The Vogue amidst your frenzied holiday festivities this weekend.
Of course, the best part of the deal (well, tough to compete with a $500 gift card) is the Elva Fields Jewelry trunk show—the last of the year for us—where we’ll be showcasing exclusive one-of-kind designs and offering a rockin’ special savings for in-store purchases that day only. Try on some jewels, enjoy chatting with the designer, have a drink or two, and then take some baubles home wrapped up for yourself or someone else who loves jewelry as much as we do!
Hope to see you there!

Cuff Love

We’ve started a new concept with Elva Fields Jewelry that brings the best of vintage your way! Because we don’t often make bracelets of our own, we love picking out beautiful vintage and antique bracelet styles on our buying trips and sourcing adventures. It has been great fun to scour the markets and auctions for fun designs, and we’ll be offering the bangles, chains, and cuffs on our website and at a few of our select retailers around the country. (At incredibly reasonable prices, we think, too!) Stay tuned and enjoy these special hand-selected “Vintage Finds from Elva Fields.”

Our Trunks Are Packed
The next few weeks will bring a flurry of activity…both in the studio and out…as we start the final stretch toward the holidays with a series of trunk shows in Kentucky and Ohio.

Our first stop is Collier West in Columbus, Ohio, where we’ll enjoy two days amongst the gorgeous wares of the Short North boutique. We’ll be at the shop on Thursday, December 3rd from 5 until 9, and again on Friday, December 4th from 11 until 4. (photo courtesy Collier West website)
This weekend we’ll be a bit closer to home in Lexington, showing off the jewels at one of our newest spots—AJ’s on Clay Avenue. Join us for a fun Sunday afternoon of shopping and styling!
Joining with local artists and vendors should be a fun time for all at 21c’s Second Annual Artists Market for holiday shopping.

Our last show of the season will be at local style spot Clodhoppers. Saturday, December 19th will be the perfect last-minute shopping occasion with lots of fun jewels to stuff those stockings or wrap with a bright bow. (Photo courtesy of The Courier Journal)
