At least one J. Crew Cardi should be in every closet, that's just a fact! Another of my own closet staples? The boyfriend jean, a big hit this season. Dress these casual pieces up with a little flair (A unique statement necklace, perhaps?). A look that says casual, but not without character.

Despite the seasickness and my legitimate phobia of sharks (this happens when you watch "Jaws" at an inappropriately young age,) I still feel there is nothing better than a day on the open seas! Our buzzword "spindrift" is perfectly tied to experiencing life as a true sailor, with the wind at your back and the sea spray in your face! (sounds magical, right?) In all seriousness, there is one brand that really does "nautical" right, creating looks and accessories that are flawlessly chic every time. This brand is, of course, J.Crew. Here are a few of my favorite J.crew classic nautical picks, right in time for warm weather fun. Also, if you're looking for a gorgeous sea-hued statement piece, look no further than the jewels I've pictured below, aptly titled "Pretty in the Pacific." Enjoy!

I'm happy to say that after my most recent trip to Anthropologie, I've found yet another obsession. I went in to “have a look around” and walked out with a gorgeous set of notebooks from Rifle Paper Co. Their products definitely appeal to my more feminine side (and I'm more than fine with that!) Lately, I've been trying to inspire myself to create daily (whether it's a small drawing, or doodling letters) and carrying one of my new notebooks around definitely makes it nearly impossible not to. Rifle Paper Co. has some pretty amazing and inspiring paper goods available on their site; anything from thank you notes, journals, calendars, and the newest addition, iPhone cases. Although it was hard, I've narrowed them down and here are a few of my favorite girly picks!
