First it was the color (yes to anything coral!) then the pattern (a woodland scene?!) and then the discovery that the tube contained...manicure tools?! Needless to say, this vintage travel nail care kit had to come home with me from the flea market last spring. Now a striking pendant, the lid unscrews to reveal all the accoutrements necessary to maintain one's nails on the go. Each tool secures to the threaded center at the top of the lid so that the container becomes each tool's handle. Two strands of polished glossy black onyx beads are the ideal accompaniment to the 1930s set, and the necklace fastens with a vintage goldtone foldover clasp at back. Measures 17.5" overall, nail kit measuring 2.5" length.
