At one of our favorite flea markets over the summer, I stumbled upon a vintage rhinestone brooch in the shape of a champagne bucket and bottle, a glittering gem that immediately brought a smile with its unique charm and easy glamour. The next week, I found another at auction. By the third champagne-themed jewel a few weeks after that, I decided a capsule collection was in order...so cheers to a small batch of necklaces inspired by the festive fun, hopeful bubbles, and joyful elevation that sparkling wine or champagne can bring. Salud, cheers, and santé - each day we are here is cause for celebration, and I hope you'll join me in toasting to the beauty around us and surely ahead.
Here, handmade glass beads from Indonesia are crafted in one of the traditional styles of the famed glass-making island of Murano, showing off striations in vibrant hues and intricate twists. Alternating with faceted silver beads from India, the playful pattern sets the stage for a vintage rhinestone brooch featuring a bottle of champagne resting in an ice bucket, charming with its whimsical tilt and glittering gems. A sterling silver-over-copper hook clasps at back, the necklace measures 18" in length, brooch is 2.5" length.
