Though it's been over 7 years, The Knot definitely makes us tempted to get hitched all over again...if only to use their beautiful and fun recommendations for fashion, decorating, and inviting.  Their winter issue is packed full of fantastic ideas for wedding festivities, and we loved seeing one of our favorite necklaces in the pages of peachy-keen dreams...

plus a pair of earrings from our upcoming Holiday Collection for the bridal party.  A double-feature from Elva Fields!

We know they say life's about the journey and not the destination, but it certainly doesn't hurt to have a tropical destination for a wedding or honeymoon--and this is the magazine that helps to make it happen.  Destination Weddings and Honeymoons will also get you there in style, and we love that they included an Elva necklace from our Holiday 2010 Collection in their "City Chic" suggestions for an evening on the town.  Stay tuned for our holiday update coming next month...and thanks to the magazine for including us.  (Makes us want to get hitched all over again just for a vacation!)

Though leaves are falling quickly here in Kentucky, signs of spring were definitely apparent in Manhattan this week, as our Spring 2011 Collection showcased at a press preview for stylists, bloggers, and editors in the city.  But just because they had the exclusive invite to come see our designs months before they appear on our site and in stores, doesn't mean you can't enjoy a sneak preview, too!

This seems especially appropriate as we're quickly approaching our due date with little lady #2 (officially due tomorrow, but who knows when she'll make her grand appearance?!) and have baby on the brain.  You all know how much we love and adore Mrs. Lilien, the stylist/graphic designer/whimsical poet/fashionista, and we LOVED seeing her styling skills spotlighted in the latest issue of Pregnancy magazine.

She put together a sublime ensemble for a fictional Mrs. Bun-in-the-Oven (below) that would make any expectant gal feel fashionable...and we love that she included an Elva Fields necklace to top off the look!  (We can certainly relate to working accessories into clothes on heavy rotation...jewelry always fits no matter how rapidly that belly expands!)

A big thank-you to Mrs. Lilien...and can't wait to see what she's up to next...a little bird tells us that her recent photo shoot escapades in Napa and Sonoma might soon be revealed, and you won't want to miss that decadence.  Check out her blog for details!

Last week's Fall into Fabulous Fashion Show, hosted by the Younger Woman's Club of Louisville on Thursday evening, was a smashing success, raising much-needed funds for local charitable agencies AND showcasing some of this season's most stylish looks.  Elva Fields was thrilled to be part of the night, outfitting the YWC ladies working the signature event with some jewels for the occasion and seeing a few styles on the runway with ensembles from one of our local retailers, Clodhoppers boutique.  Many thanks to all of you who helped make the night such a wonderful experience!
