Forgive us for getting ahead of ourselves, but here in Kentucky, we're always looking forward to the first Saturday in May. Derby Day comes but once a year, and we celebrate in style every season, paying homage here to an elegant equestrian heritage of which we're proud. A vintage Lucite pendant in a winning combination of goldenrod (our state flower!) and golden shows a striking silhouette of a horse in profile, and an inscription that reads "Kentucky Derby 1980" on its reverse. We've added a double-strand of faceted gunmetal crystal and brass beads for a glamorous-yet-wearable look, and a gilt copper toggle clasp at back. Measures 19" in length.
*Note: there is a scratch in the surface of the pendant, visible just below the horse's jaw in the detail image.
