These flowers have simply been waiting for the right time to bloom. Part of a stash of components from a now-defunct costume jewelry firm, we first found the flowers in a bin at a favorite antique mall, along with various brooch backs, casting molds, and beads--all unused but forgotten since the jeweler went out of business in the 1970s. The flowers were dark and dingy, but with some polish (and wishful thinking) they became these beautiful blossoms--golden and gorgeous. They're now shining bright among strands of matte-finished and gunmetal-plated metal bead strands, creating a striking two-tone look sure to last a lifetime. Measures 18" with a brass box clasp at back.
