One of our favorite features of working with vintage elements is imagining their story: where the jewels came from and the journey they took before making their way to our hands. This particular brooch, with its finely-wrought golden filigree, sparkling rhinestones, and rich green and coral cabochons, leads us to imagine a supremely glamorous history. (And we're fairly certain it was made by the costume masters at DeLizza and Elster, known as Juliana jewelry.) Whether or not its origins are as precious as we imagine, their ending is quite the lovely one, nestled among strands of faux malachite ovals and Indian brass beads. The next stop on its colorful journey? Well, that's up to you! A brass hook at the back completes the style. Measures 18.5” overall.
