Ever the harbinger of spring, a sweet bluebird is the scene-stealer here.  Perched happily in enamel on a polished (and gorgeously aged) wood setting, the brooch likely dates to the 1910s and is detachable from the vintage gilt brass chains.  Better yet?  The chain is long enough to wear looped just once (at 40" long!) or twice for a very versatile look.  The adjustable vintage hook at back makes this one a keeper.  Well, that and our feathered friend.
