Keep On The Sunnyside / Re~Vintage

Elva Fields

When a long-standing customer contacted me recently about acquiring a portion of her beloved Elva Fields necklace collection, she explained that she was planning to retire to the UK and that life had shifted a bit, meaning she didn't have the same opportunities to wear and enjoy her necklaces as she once had and that downsizing meant they couldn't all come along for the fun.

Though I'm sad not to continue contributing to her wonderful collection, I'm excited for what's ahead for her. Additionally, I was thrilled to have a chance to see some of these designs again after they originally shipped from the studio over the last decade, most between 2015 and 2016. Some of these necklaces arrived back in my new studio in pristine condition with their original tags attached, others have been refreshed with a cleaning, a re-stringing, or an updating of a loose clasp and dull beads, and still others have been entirely reconsidered, swapping out beads or changing the arrangement of the vintage element to reflect a more updated style. They're each now ready for a new adventure and a chance to be worn, enjoyed, and loved.

Originally part of our Late Spring Collection in 2015, I gave this one a light refresh with a cleaning and a polish after its decade of love and wear - it is in wonderful condition. It's not a challenge to keep on the sunny side of life with this optimistic beauty by your side (or around your nape!) Nine strands of faceted golden yellow crystal lend their joy and brilliance to a fresh, white glass jeweled bloom, a vintage brooch that exudes charm and cheer. A gold vermeil hook clasps the strands at 18" in length.
