Fortuitous Encounter

Sometimes serendipity reigns supreme at the studio, and such was the case with this purely-by-happenstance beauty. Remnants of a discarded design, several strands of green-hued beads (turquoise, African glass from Kenya and Ghana, and crystal) were lined up on our design table, awaiting return bead storage, when a strand of pink African beads accidentally dropped amongst them. A fortuitous encounter, we fell instantly for the combination, and added a backdrop of glossy black onyx ovals (mixed with the greens for good measure) to set the stage for their beauty. A gilt copper toggle at back adds a hint of golden and allows adjustable lengths from 18.5 to 19.5" overall.
