It has been said that "the city has a face, the country has a soul" and nothing says soul more than rich purple and earthy green--especially when the two hues are rendered in wood, stone, and vintage resin.  Three strands of polished and tapered purple quartz alternate with vintage purple wood beads and are all adorned at the side by a collection of five vintage pearly green buttons, likely from the 1940s.  (Love their subtle geometric pattern and texture.)  A sterling silver clasp fastens the design at back, approximately 18" long overall.
