City of Lights
elva
Hemingway called Paris a "moveable feast," and now, thanks to one of our favorite vintage finds to date, you may take the city along with you wherever you may go. Rendered in glossy black and gorgeous gold, la Tour Eiffel stands stunningly against a sky of twinkling stars on the lid of this 1930s compact, the Art Deco lettering and layout capturing so much of what is glamorous and wonderful about the City of Lights. Suspended from a single, substantial strand of polished black agate discs, the design is simple and elegant. (Not unlike Paris herself...et toi aussi, bien sûr.) A gilt copper hook fastens the necklace at 19" in length.
