With the butterfly as a symbol of hope, we were both smitten and inspired by this vintage compact by Lucretia Vanderbilt, especially when we spied the intact hot pink powder beneath the lid - bold indeed! A single strand of hand-wrought brass saucer beads from Mali lends glamour and grace, as well as an earthy quality that makes this one entirely wearable and wonderful. Measures a flattering 21" in length.
