Its versatility comes from the incredible variety of gemstones in its beaded strands as well as the fact that the equine element at the side is entirely detachable, allowing for two very different necklace looks in one stunning style. But let’s start with the stones: carved and faceted stones like sodalite, rose quartz, moonstone, tiger’s eye, rhodochrosite, unakite, aventurine, jasper, amethyst, and rock crystal glitter and twinkle subtly like the stars they are, spaced throughout by tiny golden brass beads. The vintage hand-carved wood horse head brooch from the 40s or 50s simply pins on over these stunning strands as desired, and a 14 karat gold-over-copper clasp at back continues the elegant equestrian theme with a stirrup-shaped toggle clasp. Necklace measures 17.5” length at shortest strand.
