Lilies of the valley are blooms that mark the return of spring, which is really to say they symbolize a renewal of happiness. Celebrating in classic style are seven strands of handmade black glass beads, adorned here and there with tiny faceted brass beads for a touch of golden glamour throughout. A vintage floral buckle featuring these happy harbingers (produced in 1981 by Mimi di Niscemi) becomes the clasp of the design and may be worn at the side of the strands or at the back of the neck for two very distinct looks in one. Necklace measures 18" in overall length.
