Is It Luck or Wisdom
Elva Fields
Maybe it's both in this gem - luck and wisdom abound in four-leaf clovers and pearls! Three strands of freshwater pearls are petal-like in their formation, creating a textural drape that becomes a luminous and lovely backdrop for a pair of vintage brooches pinned on at the side. We love that the clovers - vintage designs likely from the 1950s by costume jewelry firm Coro - show off texture of their own on their rounded leaves, each feature a costume pearl center, and each may be removed from the necklace and worn elsewhere if desired. (We can absolutely picture these beauties paired at the shoulder of a spring sweater or gathering the tails of a blouse elegantly at the hip.) Removing the brooches means the triple-strand of pearls may be worn and enjoyed on their own, an updated classic that elevates any occasion. So many options both lucky and wise! A 14 karat gold-over-copper toggle fastens at back, the shortest strand measuring 18" length.
