As a tried and true shell lover and seeker since childhood, it's no small statement to say that I'm torn between choosing the vintage golden buckle or the glass beads as my favorite feature of this statement style. Honestly, it's a toss-up. The double-shell buckle by Paquette mimics the stylish scallop - a seaside staple - in gorgeous golden metal. Here, the buckle becomes the clasp of a dozen strands of gorgeous green glass beads in hues almost ombré-like of aqua and chartreuse. There is much to love and enjoy in this necklace, and the versatility of wearing the shell buckle at the side of the strands for a beach-beautiful look (coastal cool, for sure) or at the back of the neck, showing off the very of-the-moment colors, is just one more element to add to the "like" list. Necklace measures 18.5" overall.
