She's Got A Way
Elva Fields
A gal with her own style and sense of direction is a wonder to behold, and we're hoping this gem is right up her alley. What a treat to stumble upon these beautiful beads, made by hand in Indonesia in the style of glasswork from Venice whose tradition in the craft has been celebrated since the 8th century. Each bead of the four strands is entirely unique, featuring delightful patterns and designs - almost like an elevated style of graffiti - in white, green, red, blue, and yellow against a black ground. Stunning at the side of the strands is a vintage bouquet (perhaps from the 1940s) made of rhinestones in gorgeous green and white and measuring over 4" length like the most marvelous, statement-making corsage. A sterling silver over copper hook clasps the necklace at back, measuring 21" in overall length. Combining rare finds and path-paving style, she's got a way of making her mark.
