This one has a certain je ne sais quoi, between its creamy bone disc beads from Kenya, glittering golden brass beads from Turkey shining brightly among them...and especially with its vintage golden metal buckle from France that acts as the double-strand's clasp. Based on the buckle's markings on its reverse, it seems this stunning design was made by Arthus-Bertrand, a Parisian manufacturer of awards and decorations founded in 1803 and still in business today, having added jewelry to their list of legendary creations. (Among many other things, they are celebrated for making the French government's Legion of Honor award.) Whether the golden buckle is shown off at the side of the strands or worn at the back of the neck for a simpler look, the necklace is a bit of Parisian style for your every day. Measures 30" length.
