We considered it an honor when a local family brought us boxes of costume jewelry from a loved one's estate not long ago, asking if we might be able to create new designs from the old, cherished-but-not-relevant bits and baubles.  Uncertain we'd do the jewels justice, but glad to try, here is one design we created from broken strands of vintage glass and Lucite beads--combining happy hues of yellow, turquoise, periwinkle, emerald green, chocolate brown, and royal blue.  We added contemporary crystal in black to make the colors truly pop, and to generate a bit of extra length for this delightful drape of eight strands! Measures 19" in length at the shortest of the strands, all fastened at back by a silvered copper box clasp.
