We were immediately smitten by this delightful vintage brooch when we spied it at a favorite flea market earlier this fall, having never seen one quite like it before. The details in colorful enamel on brass are beautiful examples of Spanish craftsmanship (the brooch hails from Spain) and the addition of tiny beads in crystal and 150-year-old African glass only heighten the joyful celebration of color against beads of faceted black crystal. A gilt copper clasp at back fastens the necklace at 17.5" in length.
