One of our favorite parts of working with vintage elements is the story that each one holds. We love to picture the ladies who wore the brooches, and imagine the furs the jeweled clips may have adorned. Knowing that we get to add an extra chapter to their storied jeweled lives is an extra thrill, and this pendant was no exception. Rendered in silvertone metal, this openwork pendant (whose original accompanying necklace has long since disappeared) is hinged, allowing the ornate drops to daintily dangle at the front. Three strands of crackled glass rectangles, together with silver pewter, lend their sparkle while helping to create a monochromatic look. A sterling silver hook is a simple closure at the back of this 18” design whose new chapter is just beginning, and we can't wait to see (and hear) all of the beautiful tales to come!
