Though we're not entirely sure that the small, white, sparkling flowers of the vintage necklace and earring components are an exact match for edelweiss, as Sound of Music fans, we couldn't help the reference.  In any case, the gathering of blooms at the side is spectacular, especially against a field of deep turquoise beads in five strands.  And if that doesn't inspire a song on a hillside, maybe the turquoise-studded gold vermeil clasp will.  (Just don't go cutting down your draperies, now.)  Approximately 19" long, shortest strand.
