Beauty is effortless when it comes from the heart, and we were instantly drawn to this heart-shaped buckle half on a recent vintage adventure.  Though missing its mate, the cut steel and turquoise glass embellishments were beautiful, and we wondered if it might have French origins...though there's no way of really knowing.  So we went with our heart and brought it to the studio to find a new life for this antique beauty.  Soon enough, beads of turquoise, magnesite, crystal, malachite and azurite, and jade were joining the heartfelt fun, and we love the artful arrangement, a heart at its center.  A silvered copper hook clasps the necklace at 18" in length.
