We fall for these beads every time we find them (which is not all that often) and to discover a stash in reds and whites (and even a few with confetti-like hints of blue and yellow) was cause for celebration.  Called kankamba or kakumba beads, they hail from Ghana and Togo and bring a fun mix of color to any and every occasion.  Seven strands gather in a flattering longer length, and a collection of antique rhinestone buttons, some dating to the 1920s, at the side makes them all the more festive.  In truth, this one is a joyful party waiting to happen.  A vintage rhinestone clasp at back continues the hint of sparkle and allows lengths from 26 to 28" in length.
